Catchin Up Yet Again..

Just catching up on a few recent pictures I have!

Puppy Haircuts...notice the little mohawks :D

Chalk board paint on fridge = a place to do some new fun drawings every day at work!

From Dinosaurs, to fish, to animals, to fruit, & now to sweets ;)

The recent thing with the kids lately, apart from dinosaurs, has been fish tanks!

Another little munchkin I got to look after :)

 More fun at the beach!! ... And at the end of september! :)

Feeding ducks, splashing in the lake, making sand castles, & playing in the park!

(including all 3 of us going down the slide at once & all swinging on one swing together.)

Homemade Chips!!

Mmmm Mmmm

I loooove me some homemade chips! :)

Super easy & healthier then buying store chips!

Groceries Needed:

Your choice of potatoes, sweet potatoes, or yams! UNpeeled! The peel is GOOD for you!

Vegetable oil ( I used canola oil) -- basically for every 2 potatoes, use 1 Tbsp of oil.

Vegetable oil spray.

Salt to taste.

Pepper (optional -- I used it)

Kitchen Utensils Needed:

I use my handy dandy mandolin that makes it all SO much quicker & easier! However, a normal knife will do as well!

Tbsp measuring spoon.

Large bowl.

How To Do It:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 

Slice potato quite thin (approx. the thickness of a Toonie) 

Put potato in large bowl & cover all with the oil & salt/pepper. 

Spray cookie sheet with vegetable spray & be sure to make ONE layer of potato chips with NO overlapping! 

& simply bake for 20 min, flipping them all after 10 min.

Catching up on the past few months!

OK!

So i AM still alive! :)

Finally getting around to making a blog!

I always have lots of pictures of my everyday life with the kids!

So it's pretty much another job/kidz blog!

But still counts! 

:P

I still need to make time to do a blog on a couple of other things I have been meaning to get around to!

Things from the past few months:

**Moved things around in the living room!  

** Got some new furniture for our bedroom! Yay - chad actually has room for HIS clothes! :)

**Have been with the kids I am with now, for 6 months! - Time flies!

**Chads brother & wife had their sweet little girl!

**Booked time off for the summer to spend time with my family! YAY!

**Couple new healthy delicious recipes - I will have to do a blog on that itself!

**Got some new runners - now to actually use them! :P

**Got a new shop truck!

**Got some new kitchen toys!

....all I can really think of at the moment!

But anyhoo here is a recap of my last few months...

OK...HOW cute is she in the right picture with her pants hiked up over her onesie with her little yellow crocs & her little pink sunglasses trying SO hard to jump high! ha - makes me smile!

Fun with the Kidz :D ..

Never a dull moment with these kids! 

Always going somewhere or doing something,

& I like it that way :)

My days go by super fast 

& I have fun all day!

So here is a little update of some of our "top moments"!

...

My valentines day gift from the kids! It is a booklet style card, and behind that cover is pages and pages of their drawings for me of dinosaurs & flowers! 

SO precious :)

Fun outdoors!

Just thought this was the cutest picture, pig-tails n' all :)

Kids wanted a giant cupcake for daays...so i gave them a GIANT cupcake...literally :)

This was a day project! They helped me with taping and coloring & everything!

All its made of is cardboard & paper..and lots n lots of tape ;P 

The white circles with the colored lines are sprinkles!

& the candle was made so that when you blow on it, the flames all move!

Only problem with the kids crazy imaginations...

- they decided to pretend it was their birthday.. 

so they sang,

made a wish,

blew out the candle...

& then ripppppped the candle off so they could eat it..literally takes bites of circles :)

Still totally worth it!

The next craft with the eggs..

the idea came off something I saw on pinterest!

using clothes pins & paper!

We made eggs that crack open when you squeeze the clothes pin,

and the dinosaurs pop out..

& you can actually take the dinosaur out of the egg & play with it :P

Bottom picture: a dragon we made out of play dough stuff! 

Last but not least...

I just had to put these pictures on!

Left: they just looked so cute coloring together ;)

Right: Im coloring with him on the floor...

not watching him for a seecond..

I hear him saying (as he's holding a marker):

"I'm just going to put some lip stick on noooow.. Just going to take the lid off..

& im just going to turn it up a bit...and just put a little on here and here and here and here and here..."

...apparently lipstick goes on the ENTIRE face..

Kids just say & do the cutest/ funniest things.

Happy Birthday To My Hubby!!

He is 25 today!!

He was sick our anniversary,

now im sick his birthday..

eesh

BUT we are going to do something fun this weekend to celebrate

Our anniversary, his birthday + valentines day!

I already gave him his birthday present on thursday..

He has been wanting a comfy chair for when he is playing PS3 or on the comp. etc.

SO...

I got him a bean bag chair!!!

Whats more comfy?!?! 

:)

(don't mind his falling apart work clothes... :P)

I get paid to do what I love..

to play with kids all day! :)

Its so fun coming up with different crafts & games & 

listening to children's music & watching kids tv 

& going for little outings to gymnastics & libraries & play dates & pre-school & 

for long walks & stroller rides & to the parks &

even just to the pet store!

January 21

was our ONE year anniversary!!!

Seems like just yesterday it was our wedding day!

Crazy how fast time flies! 

It was an awesome first year of marriage...
